KeepKode is a web-based code snippet management platform that allows users to save, organize, search, and share code snippets. The Service includes both free and paid subscription tiers with varying features and limitations.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
• One person or legal entity may maintain only one free account

3.2 Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Subscription Tiers

• Free Plan: Limited to 50 code snippets with basic features
• Pro Plan: Unlimited snippets with advanced features for $9/month
• Team Plan: All Pro features plus team collaboration for $29/month

4.2 Billing Terms

• Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We use Paddle as our payment processor
• Prices may change with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers

4.3 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• You retain access to paid features until the end of your billing period
• Downgrading may result in loss of data that exceeds free plan limits

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use KeepKode to:

• Store and organize your own code snippets
• Share code snippets publicly or privately
• Collaborate with team members (Team plan only)
• Access and search your code library

5.2 Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Use the Service to spam or harass others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Share account credentials with others
• Use the Service for cryptocurrency mining or similar resource-intensive activities

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

• You retain ownership of all code snippets and content you upload
• You grant us a license to store, display, and process your content to provide the Service
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any code you upload
• Public snippets may be viewed by other users

6.2 Our Content

• The KeepKode platform, design, and features are owned by us
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content
• Our trademarks and logos may not be used without permission

7. Privacy and Data

7.1 Data Collection

• We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy
• Private snippets are not shared with other users
• We implement security measures to protect your data

7.2 Data Portability

• You may export your snippets at any time
• Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days

8. Service Availability

8.1 Uptime

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible

• Free users receive community support
• Paid users receive email support with priority response
• Team users receive priority support with faster response times
